Do I need a referral to see a physiotherapist or exercise physiologist?
No referral is required for private appointments. However, if you’re coming under a WorkCover or Medicare plan (GP Chronic Condition Management Plan), a referral from your GP is necessary.
What should I bring to my first appointment?
Bring your referral (if applicable), any relevant scans or reports, important medical information such as medications list, and wear comfortable clothing you can move in. If you’re coming for a lower limb injury, shorts are ideal; for upper body or shoulder injuries, a singlet or loose top is helpful. If you do come unprepared, do not worry, we can maintain modesty with the use of towels to cover up sensitive areas.
How long are the appointments?
Initial consultations: 45 minutes
Follow-up sessions: 30 minutes
Women’s Health initial consultations: 60 minutes
Women’s Health follow-up sessions: 30-45 minutes
Times may vary slightly depending on the complexity of your condition if made aware in advance.
How much do appointments cost?
Our standard fees are:
• Initial Consultation (Physio or Exercise Physiology): $124
• Follow-Up Appointment: $94
• Extended Session or Dual Service (45mins): $135
Our Specialised Women’s Health fees are:
• Initial Consultation: $150
• Follow-Up Appointment (30mins): $100
• Extended Follow-Up Session (45mins)​: $135
Please note:
• A 1.1% surcharge applies on all debit and credit card payments
• Medicare EPC referrals are not bulk billed — a gap payment will apply.
• Private health rebates are available on the spot through HICAPS.
• WorkCover claims are billed directly to the insurer, provided treatment has been approved prior to the initial consultation.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
We understand that things come up. We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for any cancellations or changes. Late cancellations or missed appointments may incur a fee. Please [click here] to read our Cancellation Policy.
